The location of this hotel is really splendid, very centrally located. It's just a couple of minutes' walk from the Opera Garnier, so if you're going to see the opera, then the location is perfect. If you're going to see the Louvre, it's comfortably within walking distance of that too. And if you're arriving by Eurostar at the Gare du Nord, it is also walking distance, though maybe only if you like walking and don't have too much luggage. It's about a half an hour walk, so you may prefer to take a taxi or the metro. But I walked, and thoroughly enjoyed the walk. The hotel itself is nothing special, but it's OK. I notice there are some really dreadful reviews, which really don't ring true to me. I didn't have any of the problems described. Not sure if the reviewers were just really unlucky and caught them on a bad day or if the reviews are planted by a rival hotel. Make your own mind up. The bedroom was on the small side, but this is probably inevitable that centrally in Paris unless you want to pay the sort of prices you'll find at the Ritz. It wasn't tiny. However, the design was quite poor. There were no shelves or drawers for putting clothes away. If you can't get your clothes on a clothes hanger, then they're staying in the luggage. The room was really not so small that it would have been impossible to include some drawers. There was a safe, but it wasn't attached to the wall and not particularly heavy, so probably not a great place to store anything of great value. The bathroom was clean and well designed (there was no bath, but there was a good shower). The shower was nice and powerful and the temperature could be well controlled. Breakfast was brought to order, rather than from a buffet, so bear that in mind if you're in a hurry. The selection of breakfast was a bit limited, but the croissants and pain au chocolat were very tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The worst hotel you can stay in Paris. For those who want to stay here in March-April 24, no hot water for a few weeks! We were the first to experience this. Because their old boiler system is just shut down. They offered us to take a shower in another hotel and come back.. They probably gave everyone the same room. The rooms are small and the doors are very close to each other. So you can hear everything outside your door. Everything is falling apart.

This was the worse experience I have had in hotel ever!!! There was no lights in the hallway, the room card was not working and I had to change rooms. The portable kettle was not connected to the main socket and not electrics. the floor was sticky and it I could not wait to leave - thankfully it was only for one night!!! AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

Affordable hotel with a very good location

This hotel has a fairly optimal location if you want to visit both the parts north of the Seine and south of the Seine and is quite "in the middle" even laterally. (Located very close to both Galeries Lafayette, Opera Garnier and Café de la Paix.) It's nice and excellent service and friendly staff. The rooms may be quite small, but they are fine. We stayed 4 nights. We can recommend it as an affordable hotel with a very good location and good service.

Very nice, very Paris feel of a hotel. Super friendly staff and spotless cleaning! Booked the larger room that was available and it was very good size, can't imagine a lot of the hotels in Paris offers as much space. Very family friendly hotel in the sense of how we were treated, didn't feel for a second as traveling with a baby was an issue for them which the the rest of Paris kind of did. Christmas decoration in the lobby made it very very cute and welcoming and the location is perfect. Loved our stay
